Behrens Family Winery is a boutique Winery in the truest sense, they produce small lots of 10 to 15 red wines a year at its winery perched high on top of Spring Mountain in Napa Valley.

The Explorer- This youthful and lively wine is loaded with aromas of sweet spice, caramel and white pepper followed by flavors of vanilla bean, cedar and anise. The big, chewy tannins are well integrated and give balance and verve while the sweet finish lingers.
The Changeup-This fan-favorite Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend steps up to the plate exhibiting aromas of toasty vanilla oak, salted caramel and sweet blue fruits. Thanks to the fine grained tannins, the texture is soft, lush and pillowy. Flavors of black pepper, licorice and huckleberries slide into a finish of tobacco, sage, and graphite.
Homeland- This Napa Valley Cab has a candy-cherry nose, loaded with floral, black plum and licorice notes, this powerful and lively wine is balanced with a firm tannin structure. Blackberry jam, raspberry and graphite minerality extend into the lengthy finish.
Labor of Love-This Cabernet Franc from the Martinez Vineyard on Pritchard Hill has been charming and surprising since 2009. The 2012 Labor of Love exudes aromas and flavors that runt he gamut from spicy notes of cinnamon, cardamom and tobacco to fresh and elevated hints of crushed flowers and juicy raspberries. Balanced acidity and fine tannins knit everything together in this wine that delights with its incredible combination of power and grace.
The Collector-The second vintage of the Collector is an intriguing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Petite Verdot. Aromas of candied orange peel, cedar resin, cigar ash, and molasses are complimented by flavors of dark chocolate, dusty blackberry and hints of grilled steak. This wine has a gorgeous texture all wrapped up in firm but velvety tannins.
At the Movies- This wine is a tribute to the late Roger Ebert. Featuring aromas of vanilla, cedar and orchids, this action-packed wine plays to loads of blue fruits, bitter chocolate and focused minerality. Silky, plush and broad on the mid palate, it is perfectly balanced from the opening credits to the satisfying finish -a full length work, destined to be a classic.
Cemetery- This wine offers aromas of coffee, black fruits and wonderful notes of sweet jam on buttered toast. It has mocha, blueberry, allspice and a great bramble-blackberry finish that goes on forever. This wine will age well.
Sainte Fumee- The 2012 Sainte Fumee is a bigger, richer version of her previous counterparts. Always a fan favorite, this wine exhibits aromas of white pepper, roses and caramelized sugar. Deep flavors of cherry cordial and cocoa powder are lifted by a firm and tannic structure.
Another Roadside Attraction- This wine has a gorgeous dense red/black color. Also notable are the beautiful aromatics. Elevated notes of vanilla, creme brulee, smoked tea and black pepper lend elegance to this deep and brooding wine. Roasted plums and cherries mingle with bittersweet chocolate and spicy notes. An hommage to its literary namesake, this wine is complex, intriguing and surprising.
Kitchen Sink- This playful blend makes for a most intriguing, easy-drinking wine. The nose opens with smoke and hints of tar and tobacco evolving into sweeter tones of currant, cherry and violet as the wine sits in the glass. The flavors in this bright, mouth filling cuvee range from graphite to black huckleberry, vanilla to cherry, and the round, integrated tannins linger through the finish.
Front Man-The palate of this Merlot based beauty plays off of the deep ruby black color and sings with flavors of sweet cherries and vanilla. Keeping it real with earthy notes of cedar, spice and wild blackberries, the stage is set for the elegant foundation of velvety tannins.
