The first in the Experimental Series from Glenfiddich is their IPA cask finished single malt. A curious idea, they took a single malt whisky, aged it, then took those barrels and had a local brewery create and age an IPA in them. They then finished their whisky in the IPA barrels.
not only did they create a pioneering new whisky, with unique zesty citrus notes and the subtle hint of fresh hops but they also created a pioneering new craft beer in the process, too.
Vibrant with a zesty citrus not followed by soft, sweet vanilla and a hint of fresh hops.
