This is a deep, rich wine, saturated purple black in color with vibrant red edges. Expressive notes of cigar box, cinnamon, cassis and cedar lift from the glass, while elevated flavors of sweet, juicy, red fruits are supported by firm tannins and a welcomed acidity. The finish, right down the middle, is all chocolate cherry cordial. Nicely focused, this wine stays in the lane for the strike!
